LSM-VIA 1.6 & 1.7

In the latest versions of the LSM VIA software, the shortcut functions have been expanded – including the new option to map a specific keyword directly to a shortcut button.

A clip and cam toggle have also been added to the Metadata interface and when exporting clips, enabling you to add key information more precisely.

LSM VIA 1. 7 also introduces MultiReview – a control mode enabling you to browse all record trains across your whole XNet-VIA and quickly create, append and export clips.

XtraMotion 2.0 & 2.1

XtraMotion enables you to transform any content, from any camera, into Super Slow-Motion in seconds. The launch of XtraMotion 2.0 adds an On-Premises version of the service – XtraMotion Edge - to the existing cloud offering. Using dedicated hardware, you’re now able to turn around XtraMotion clips in around 5 seconds – without the requirement to get clips to and from the cloud.

In the new version 2.1, XtraMotion clips are now restored as if they were real SLSM clips that had originated from a Super Motion Camera – giving you 150 fps.

XtraMotion 2.1 Edge now supports UHD-4K natively for XAVC-Intra 4K and DNxHR.

Multicam 20.4 & 20.5

In the latest Multicam software updates, there have been a number of LiveIP improvements. These include the ability to use the IP Aggregator (XHub Via) with only one IP address per QSFP interface (instead of multiple IP addresses as before).

It’s now possible to have up to 6 Fill & Key channels on XT-VIA and XS-VIA – double the number that were previously available.

New block-based preload functionality now hugely reduces the delay when playing a live distant record train using XNet-Via. This also makes it possible to synchronise the playback of several cameras – whether they’re played from local or remote channels.

The number of audio channels recorded per video channel on XT-VIA and XS-VIA in SDI configuration can now be extended to 24 or 32, depending upon how many video channels you’re using.

Documentation Portal

In February 2023 EVS launched the Documentation Portal, an online centralized platform for EVS product manuals and technical references, accessible through our VIA PORTAL. It offers advanced search and filtering options, as well as bookmarking and sharing of features. It also gives you the ability to create personal collections and to receive updates on your selected topics for a more personalized experience.
